Turkish international Enes Unal is someone who has been performing so well under the radar this season in the Spanish La Liga, and he is certainly having his best season since his move to Getafe from fellow la liga outfit Villarreal back in the summer of 2020.

During their game yesterday at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez against one of La liga strugglers Deportivo Alaves, in what was seen as a turning point in the game, an incident occured which resulted in Getafe's Spanish Centre back Jorge Cuenca being sent off, due to his high foot on Alaves Striker Edgar Mendez after a review from the VAR team, and as if that was not enough, at the stroke off half time it got even worse for the home side as an unrushing Alaves Player Escalante headed in a cross to give the visitors the lead.

Quique Sanchez Flores men headed into the break looking dejected and out of sorts, but despite that setback, they were resolute and at the start of the second half, former Manchester City Striker Enes Unal in an effort to dig his team out of the bad situation they were already in following the red card, took the bull by the horn by scoring with a powerful header following a corner from the home side which Alaves goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco had no answer to, throwing their fans into a frenzy.

However, before Getafe could regroup after celebrating they were bringing the ball out of their net again, as Alaves striker Edgar Mendez who was being booed by the home fans for his part in Cuenca's sending off, slotted in through a smart finish following a fine team move.

ENES UNAL HAS THE FINAL SAY

Jose Luis Mendilibar's team thought they would be heading home with all three points but Getafe's turkish international Enes Unal had other ideas, as the former villareal player out of nowhere produced a moment of brilliance by burying an effort from a very tight angle into the top corner of the alaves net, leaving Fernando Pacheco stunned just as everyone at the Collisuem Alfonso Perez, which only shows that Enes Unal is not only a brilliant player, but also an exceptionally gifted one at that, and he is only going to get better.
