The defending Champions League champions from Chelsea take on Malmö FF at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday in each of their third matches in Group H. Chelsea currently sit in second place in the group, after winning and losing one of their first two matches, while Malmö has lost both, where they still have not managed to get on the scoreboard. In the domestic tournament, Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea troops are in 1st place, where they have managed to acquire 19 points in eight Premier League matches played.

In the Champions League, the story is a little different for the London club. They started their title defense by winning 1-0 at home over Zenit St. Petersburg - which was Romelu Lukaku's last goal scored. In the capital club's second Champions League showdown, they lost 1-0 to Juventus in Turin, where Federico Chiesa scored after ten seconds inside the second half.

For Malmö coach, Jon Dahl Tomasson, promotion from Group H looks more or less impossible already after two games played. They started the Champions League adventure by losing 3-0 at home at Eleda Stadium to Juventus, where they went to Zenit two weeks later, and lost by a full 4-0. Thus a bad start for the Danish Malmö coach who has a goal score of 0-7.

In the Swedish league Allsvenskan, the situation is completely different for 'Den hvide scorpion' where his team is currently also in 1st place, but with seven games left. Here you have got 44 points in 23 matches which is the same number of points as Djurgardens IF and AIK Football.
