Viktor Fischer took the Super League by storm when FC Copenhagen brought him back to Denmark back in the winter of 2018, where he contributed with lots of goals and assists. Since then, however, it has quietly gotten harder and harder for the former Ajax player, who has also struggled with injuries.

Fischer has not been close to playing time in the Superliga in the start-up and FC Copenhagen coach Jess Thorup has said that the offensive player is struggling with the level. Now it is reported that Fischer is on his way from the Østerbro club.

According to the Belgian media Nieuwsblad, 27-year-old Fischer has been spotted at the airport in Belgium, where he will sign with Royal Antwerp, where former FC Midtjylland coach Brian Priske manages the troops on a daily basis.

Belgian journalist David Van Den Broeck writes that Fischer will undergo the mandatory medical check, and will then most likely sign with the Belgian top club.
