Jose Mourinho since he assumed control over the Roma football club has been genuinely dealing with getting the team set up by signing a few players to help the squad. All through the summer, the former Tottenham manager has been attempting to get an additional player for the position, where the Italian capital club as of now has, among others, Amadou Diawara, Steven Nzonzi, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Jordan Veretout, Bryan Cristante and Gonzalo Villar.

Roma have attempted to bait both Teun Koopmeiners and Granit Xhaka to the club. In the two cases, notwithstanding, they have not succeeded. Roma don't surrender the chase, and they are presently searching for an approach to get Torreira on a season long loan. Torreira needs an exchange away from Arsenal this mid year. Last season, the central midfielder was never in the plans of the Premier League club, and the Uruguayan was subsequently shipped off to Spanish club Atletico Madrid on loan.

Recently, Arsenal were reported to have offered Torreira to two other Serie A clubs Napoli and Lazio. But, nothing has emerged from the discussions that the London football team had with the two clubs. Torreira has been anticipating move back to Seria A, this could be his only possiblity.
