Its probably deemed abnormal for English player's most especially young ones, crossing the borders of the country to play football elsewhere and considering the popular nature of the premier league, its easy to understand why,for young players, playing in the premier league is seen as being crucial to their development as footballer's, there's a competitive and popular league to play in, and lots of games to get a chance, plus there's an advantage to it,your within the eyesight and grasp of the English media,ex players and top pundits, who get to follow your development keenly and could always make a case for your international debut, but as ironic as it may sound one reason, why young English players could be more successful playing abroad,is the opposite of why the premier league is seen as the best place for their development, the English media in times past have a habit of uneccesarily hyping young players once they come to the fore, you could score a scrappy goal on your debut, but the headlines in the paper the next day could read "The next Paul Gascoigne" a bit of an outrageous exxageration on my part, yeah, but my point basically is you get praised for every little thing you do as a young player, and this only gets to raise expectations, from you and put unnecessary pressure on you to live up to that hype, and most times they don't, playing in another league would limit the participation of such in your development, and give you to right mindset to flourish as a player and that is exactly what two English young stars, Reiss nelson and jadon Sancho are doing in the German bundesliga, the latter has apparently taken Europe by storm this season, these two teenagers are proving that young English players could be successful abroad,we take a look at just exactly how they are doing it.

1.Jadon sancho

Prior to FIFA under 17 world cup last year, the English man was relatively known, but an influential performance in England's title win ensured he got the credits he duly deserved, and part of it was being offered a deal by borussia dortmund, the then Manchester city starlet would have been expected to continue his development with the English club, but he made a somewhat bold decision to leave the club in search of regular first team football in Germany,in truth he didn't get what he had hoped for when he initially arrived at Dortmund, but he showed enough promises to convince Dortmund that he was the real deal, and in his second season at the club,he is fast proving that, the 18 year old has contributed to a total of 13 goals for the club this season,5 scored and 8 assisted and is establishing a growing influence on the team, his form has seen him earn his first cap for the England senior team, becoming the first player born in this century to do so,and has been linked with a potential big money move back to man city, while also sparking the interest of psg, Sancho however was quick to play down those rumours, revealing his very much loving life in Germany, and we can clearly see why,in Dortmund he is getting a lot of game time, something he probably wouldn't have been getting in the premier league, he is playing under a manager, keen about his development and has shown much faith in him, in as much Sancho has been in fine form, fans are not getting too carried away, knowing that he is still developing and would not come up good every now and then, but in truth such form exhibited in the premier league by a young player would be drawing unnecessary comparisons with club legends, getting the much famed hype of the English media and raising expectations from fans, although this can sometimes be inevitable, it could be detrimental to a player's development, playing in Germany far away from the eyes and attention of england,Jadon Sancho is clearly concentrating on his football on the pitch than what the media has to say about him.

2. Reiss Nelson

Regarded by many,to be the best arsenal product to come out of hale end, since the days of jack wilshere,Reiss nelson may fast be proving just why people think that way,the 18 year old much like jadon Sancho is impressing in the bundesliga, but unlike the Dortmund starlet, his stay in Germany was only signed to be temporary, the england youth international is on loan from arsenal at hoffeinhiem, but is already making claims for a permanent feature, but arsenal fans won't want this gem to slip from their hands, arsenal fans have been following his development closely this season and are already looking forward to seeing him in their first team next season, well such has been the form of the teenager,he has scored 5 goals in eight appearances this season at hoffenhiem, with his last being a sublime finish in their 4-1 rout of Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, the winger recently revealed club manager julien nagglesmann was the reason he chose to play for the club, and this goes a long away to prove that these youngsters are eager to impress and develop and just need a manager who believes in them to do the magic, Reiss Nelson is at a perfect club for young player development, a club that was instrumental to the rise of another arsenal youth product serge gnabry, who is now at Bayern Munich, so one could only expect nelson to further mature as a player at this club.

These player's are making a case for themselves to be more involved in england and in truth there are so many talented young english players out there waiting for first team opportunities and they will be looking at these two and thinking 'well we also wanna play some football you know'
