Arsenal vs Sheffield United

As expected, Premier league actions return this weekend and as always, lots of exciting fixtures. Arsenal set to face another tricky test as they lock horns against Sheff United at home this Saturday.

Arsenal are still trying to find their feet and get the much-needed consistency to challenge for the top 4 this season. They have shown a lot of improvement under Arteta which is good news for the fans as it shows that there is light at the end of the tunnel for them. The Gunners are coming from a disappointing draw in their last premier league fixture and will be facing another tricky test against Sheff United at home. A very difficult game for the Gunners against a team that is doing pretty well so far.

Expected Formation and tactics… Arsenal will be expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They are playing at home and will be expected to have more of the ball possession. They like to pass the ball and try to find spaces to exploit, so for them, it will be a matter of dominating the game and utilizing their attacking qualities to get the job done.

Sheff United have been super impressive this season, as a newly promoted side, they have really done well. They are currently sitting in 6th on the table, 4 points above Arsenal who are sitting 10th. A difficult fixture for Sheff United at the Emirates Stadium, however, like we have seen this season, they can be a tough nut to crack on their day. Even though the odds are in favour of Arsenal at home, Sheff United has all it takes to get the win at the Emirates Stadium and from what we have seen from them so far, they will be aiming at getting all 3 points in this game.

Expected Formation and tactics… Sheff United will be expected to set up in a 3-5-2 formation. This is a very difficult fixture for them but at the same time, not an impossible one as Arsenal aren’t in a good form at the moment. Sheff United will be looking to utilize their physicality to make it very difficult for Arsenal to have their way in the game while also utilizing their wide play prowess and counter-attacking qualities to cause Arsenal problems.

What do you think will be the outcome of this fixture?

I would love to read your thoughts and opinions… Enjoy your day.
