It was the much-anticipated premier league fixture between two arch-rivals, a derby match and the biggest fixture of matchday 4. Arsenal who are coming from their 3-1 defeat away at Liverpool hosted Spurs for their first meeting of the season, a derby clash that ended in a state of equilibrium as both teams had to settle with a draw.
Arsenal who had a disappointing result at Anfield last week was also involved in yet another stern fixture, but this time at home against their fellow London arch-rival. Even though they would have preferred to have gotten the job done at home to return back to winning ways, they would still be happy with the result, as they had to overturn a 2 nil deficit to earn a positive draw at home.
Spurs aren't having the kind of start to the season they would have wished to have, but they are still not far off from the other teams above them on the table. They will be very disappointed to have let the crucial 3 points slip away from them after going 2 nil up before half time. However, it was a positive result away from home as they hope to get back to winning ways when the matchday actions resume.
