Coming up this Saturday is yet again another pre-season match action for Chelsea, the final pre-season actions game for the Blues as they get ready for the upcoming season. The new season is just a few days away and teams are already gearing up for the new challenge.

Chelsea have had a pretty decent pre-season campaign so far, and are really showing huge progress so far this pre-season as they continue learning how Lampard wants his team to play. Their recent game against Salzburg showed their goal-scoring capability and the qualities of some of the new players, most especially that of Christian Pulisic who has shown so far his qualities and what he can offer to this Chelsea side.

It has become very clear that Frank Lampard is leaning towards the 4-2-3-1 formation as he has used it most times this pre-season which makes it very logical to believe that he will most likely utilize the same formation against Borussia Monchengladbach as they round up their pre-season campaign and kickstart their main season action against Manchester United.

Borussia Monchengladbach are a pretty good team, last season wasn’t the greatest for them, but they did well to finish few points outside the top 4. Their pre-season campaign has been good so far and they will be looking forward to welcoming the premier league giant for another exciting pre-season match action in Germany.

They are a team that like to setup in a 4-3-3 formation, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they setup the same against Chelsea. They to attack and have the ball as well, so it will be interesting to see how they perform against Chelsea who have scored lots of goals so far this pre-season. A very big test for them in terms of how far they are preparing for the new season, as they get ready for the new season challenge.

An exciting match this is for the fans and we all anticipate the much-awaited first game of the 2019/2020 season.
