A lot of rumours and talking points have been going on concerning Sarri and his job at Chelsea. According to the hovering rumours, Chelsea are making plans to replace Sarri with Frank Lampard who is really doing amazing things over at Derby County. Sarri who was brought in to bring a brand new style of football, an attacking football the club has craved for a long time, is barely a season as manager and already, rumours are flying in from all direction concerning his job and whether he is the right man to lead Chelsea football club further. According to reports, Juventus are looking to hire the Chelsea manager as the man to replace Allegri who is said to leave the Old Ladies at the end of the season.

According to the reports, the blues are seriously considering Frank Lampard as the worthy replacement after taking notice of some of his managerial capabilities at Derby. Lampard who is still very fresh in the managerial game has already started making waves for himself, taking Derby to the playoffs final against Aston Villa which will kickoff next week. Some of the main reasons to why the blues are considering Lampard for the job is that he has shown his desires to utilize the youth players which is key during Chelsea’s transfer ban period, and also his attacking style of football which will suit the players available at the club.

Does Sarri deserve the sack rumours? And reasons why he deserves another season

For me, he doesn’t deserve the sack rumours flying around. Even though there might be an atom of truth concerning Chelsea’s interest in replacing him with Lampard, I still believe he doesn’t deserve the sack rumours and deserves at least another season before any judgment.

Here are a few reasons why he totally deserves another season in charge before anyone can start making judgments…

He was hired late during the World Cup period, with no time to have full pre-season with all his players

Having arrived at the club late and during the world cup period, it meant that some of the key players who took part in the world cup missed out on most part of the preseason actions. As a new manager coming into a new country and a new club, it is always great to have enough time and all the players available during preseason actions so as to work on the new system and prepare for the season. For Sarri, this meant that he had less time to work with the players and also fewer players to work with.

Achieved the major targets

One of the main targets the club asked from him was to take the team back to the champions league, and also to reach the Europa League final. He has exceeded the target by finishing 3rd in the league and has also reached the finals of the Europa League. Achieving this in his first ever season in a new league and a new country is a success.

Has a chance to win a trophy for the club

He has led the team to the finals of the Europa League against Arsenal and stand a huge chance of bringing home the trophy. Playing in a highly competitive league like the premier league and reaching the finals of the Europa League is a really good achievement for a new manager in a new league.

Improved the team on certain aspects of the game

Prior to the appointment of Sarri, Chelsea could only dream of playing out from the back like other top clubs in Europe, but since Sarri took charge of the club, the team has really improved in the area of successfully playing out from the back even under serious pressure. This is a positive development and proof for the good work he has done.

And that is a wrap...

Do you think Sarri deserves another season at Chelsea?
