Leicester City vs Aston Villa

It is another exciting Sunday as we await some of the much-anticipated premiere league matchday. This week’s premier league actions have been very good so far with some well-deserved results. Still on the continuation of the ongoing premier league matchday 29, Leicester City will be taking on Aston Villa at home as they continue their quest to secure top 4 finish this season.

Leicester alongside the likes of Wolves and Sheffield United, are having a phenomenal season so far and their position on the table says a lot. It is rare for Leicester City to be considered one of the top favorites to finish in the top 4 in a premier league season, which makes this season a remarkable one for them as they are not only sitting in 3rd position, they are one of the strong favorites to secure champions league football next season. Their recent form in their last 4 games hasn’t been great as they have only managed 2 points out of 12. However, the good news for them is that the other teams below them on the table haven’t been great either, as they are still 5 points clear in 3rd position. They will be facing Aston Villa at home tomorrow for their matchday 29 fixture, as they aim to draw closer to achieving their main goal this season.

Leicester City are expected to set up in their usual 4-2-3-1 formation. They are playing at home and are the favorites to get the job done at home. With this, they are expected to dominate major aspects of the match. In terms of gameplay, Leicester City will most likely set up with a mix of possession football approach and counter-attacking approach depending on the situation on the pitch.

Aston Villa are having a very bad season even though they are newly promoted to the premier league this season. Their form in their last 3 premier league games have been terrible with 3 losses in a row. Their main target this season is to secure premier league football for next season, however, from the way things are looking for them and their current position on 19th on the table, it becomes more difficult to see them making it out of the relegation zone. However, it is not over for them, as with the number of games still left to play before the end of the premier league season, they can still escape relegation if they are able to get a couple of wins and also the other teams around them continue to slip. They will be continuing their quest for survival this season when they lock horns against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium later tomorrow. A difficult game for them, but considering Leicester City’s poor form recently, they will not be a better time for Aston Villa to face Leicester City.

Aston Villa are expected to set up in a 4-3-3 formation. They have a similar style of play to Leicester City as they will try to play football and at the same time, utilize counter-attacks as they aim to hurt Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

What do you think will be the outcome of this fixture?

I would love to read your thoughts and opinions… Enjoy your day.
