This fixture against Huddersfield was a very tricky one for them, but they ensured that they turn the pressure over to Man City, hoping that the at least drop points.

Huddersfield has been very poor this season, and their result against Liverpool showed once again the season so far and why they have been relegated. It was always going to be difficult to play Liverpool at Anfield especially at this critical moment for them, but losing in the manner that they did showed why they’ve been so poor this season.

The atmosphere at Anfield was amazing as usual, especially on a cool premier league night. The fans were lively and excited.

The game began and Liverpool were already 1 nil up few seconds into the game, hungry and showing that desire to kill the game off as early as possible. It was a game of one end, as Liverpool completed the annihilation, as they now hope for City to drop points along the way.

Keita scored the first goal of many in the 1st minute of the game, reaching onto a defense-splitting pass to put his team in front so early into the game.

Mane doubled the lead in the 23rd minute, putting in a quality header inside the box to beat the goalkeeper. A very good header it was to double the lead of his team.

Salah added the third just before half time, running fast to loop the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper to put the game beyond the reach of Huddersfield in the first half.

Mane was on the scoresheet yet again to make it four in the 66th minute, scoring another header, but this time a diving header to put the tie to bed.

Salah completed the obliteration in the 83rd minute, tapping in from close range to seal the victory and ensure that the reclaim the top spot, hoping for something unbelievable to happen in any of the Man City remaining fixtures.

It was a great game by Liverpool, and a great way to go back to the top. This win was very crucial for them as they remain optimistic and hope for the unexpected to happen.
