Liverpool

It was a cool Sunday evening at Anfield, both teams and two of the premier league’s giants, who had very good reasons to aim for the 3 points, a game that ended in a solid victory for the home side as they do everything possible to achieve their dreams this season.

Liverpool are not taking their title race lightly and are ensuring that they give everything and they keep pushing for the title. The table looks very good for Liverpool even though Man City still has a game to play, but as it stands at the moment, nothing is certain in the premier league which is key especially for Liverpool. The win was very crucial for them and as Man City won their fixture against Palace.

Chelsea also had reasons to fight for the 3 points, as they are in a very tight top 4 race and are under pressure of missing out of the top 4, even though they are still in the Europa League and can still make their way to champions league by winning the competition. This loss means that the blues chances of finishing in the top 4 this season are getting slimmer and slimmer.
