Leicester City vs Manchester City

This week’s champions league and Europa League fixtures have been completed as we now turn our attention to the Premier league actions tomorrow. Coming up later tomorrow is the Leicester City vs Man City fixture at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City have impressed a lot this season and have become a surprise rival to some of the teams in the top 4. They have gone on to exceed a lot of expectations and are currently sitting comfortably in 3rd position at this stage of the season. They will be facing another very difficult test at home against Man City and will be aiming to prevent Man City from getting the double against them. This game if very important for them as they continue fighting to secure top 4, however, it is not going to be the end of the world if they fail to get any result against Man City as they will still be at least 6 points clear above 4th position. Nonetheless, Leicester have shown that they are more than capable of getting the job done against Man City.

Leicester City are expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They are a very good team who can play in various ways and are also good at playing good football. However, it will be a very difficult task to outplay Man City on the pitch, so for them, counter-attack might be the best possible way to go if they are to try to get a positive result against the current premier league title holders.

Man City have a huge task in their hands when they face Real Madrid for their champions league showdown next week, a fixture that will definitely attract a lot of eyeballs. Their premier league title race is as good as over at the moment as Liverpool has shown that they are by far the more superior team this season. While it looks like Man City have rightly given up on their title race quest, they are definitely making sure that they at least secure the position as the second-best team in the premier league this season. They will be facing an unexpected rival for the second time this season as they look to earn the double against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

City are expected to set up in their usual 4-3-3 formation. As always, there is nothing much to say about Man City when it comes to formation and gameplay as they are one of the few teams in the premier league who rarely change their system or gameplay.

What do you think will be the outcome of this fixture?

I would love to read your thoughts and opinions… Enjoy your day.
