Bournemouth vs Manchester United

The much-anticipated premier league actions return today as we look forward to exciting matches. Coming up next is the Bournemouth vs Man United game, as Man United aim for back-to-back wins in the premier league.

Bournemouth are not doing badly this season when you compare them with some of the teams around them, most especially Man United and Spurs who have been pretty poor for most parts this season. They are currently on the same points as Man United and will be hoping to increase their points on the table tomorrow. However, this will be a very difficult game for them as Man United are beginning to pick up form recently and pretty confident at the moment. Nonetheless, Bournemouth have shown in the past that they can get the job done against the big teams as they will be going into this game to get a positive result at home.

Expected formation and tactics, Bournemouth will most likely set up in their usual 4-4-2 formation. Their gameplan in this game will be to stay very compact at the back and capitalize on counter-attacking opportunities and set pieces to hurt Man United.

Man United are slowly picking up form and their last 3 games have seen them claim consecutive wins in all competitions. This season started pretty brightly for Man United, beating Frank Lampard’s Chelsea 4-0 at home, however, since then, things began to go downhill for them in terms of performances and results but from the look of things currently, their game against Liverpool might have restored back some level of confidence in the team as they were majorly the better side in that game. Their last victory against Chelsea in the EFL cup will give them even more confidence going into this game as they aim to make it back-to-back wins in the premier league.

Expected formation and tactics, Man United is expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. They have Martial back and Rashford firing again, so for them, they will try to utilize their qualities in quick transition counter-attacks against Bournemouth. As the more superior team on paper, they will try to have more of the ball and also try to dominate the game as well.

What do you think will be the outcome of this fixture?
