Sheffield United vs Manchester United

It has been an exciting resumption of the premier league, lots of great results yesterday and Jose Mourinho getting his first win for Spurs on his return to the premier league. Coming up later today is another exciting fixture, Man United will be facing Sheff United away at the Bramall Lane.

Sheff United are having a good season so far especially when you compare what they have done and what most of the teams around them have done, you will clearly see that they aren’t doing badly at all. They have shown that they are not fazed with the difficulties of the premier league and have been brave in most of the games they have played against the top teams. They will be hosting Man United at home later today and will be looking to capitalize on Man United’s poor form.

Expected formation and tactics, Sheff United will be expected to set up in a 3-5-2 formation. Their major aim in this game is to try to get a positive result against Man United. Their gameplan will be to play their usual way, stay very compact and try to use their abilities on the set pieces and crosses to hurt Man United.

Man United are not having the type of season they would have wished for under Solskjaer, their form recently has been poor. At the moment, a lot of uncertainties have surrounded the club as they hope to get things right. They will be going up against a very tricky opponent later today, against Sheff United who are newly promoted to the premier league but have shown that they are capable of upsetting the top teams on their day. This game will be a difficult game for Man United at the Bramall Lane, however, Man United are expected to get the job done if they are to improve their position on the table.

Expected formation and tactics, Man United will be expected to set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation. For Solskjaer, all that matters is a win. Their gameplan in this game will most likely be to attack with pace and also utilize their qualities in quick counter-attacks to cause Sheff United a lot of troubles to hurt them.
