It hasn’t been a busy premier league week like most weekends, however, the few fixtures that kept the weekend lively was really exciting. Yesterday’s fixture saw Everton continue to impress ever since they appointed Ancelotti as the new manager of the club, with a comfortable 3-1 win at home against Crystal Palace. Still, on yesterday’s fixtures, Brighton vs Watford ended in a 1-1 draw as both teams take an equal share of the pie at the Falmer Stadium. Coming up in about an hour time is the Sheff United vs Bournemouth fixture at the Bramall Lane.

Sheff United continue to impress so far this season and are seriously aiming to become the latest entry in the top 4 race. At the moment, they have really surpassed all expectations this season as a newly promoted side and are surprisingly among the teams that competing around the top 4 area. They are currently sitting 6th on the table and a win at home in a few hours’ time would put them above Spurs in 5th as they continue to fuel their ambitions.

The Blades as they call themselves are expected to set up in their favorite 3-5-2 formation. They are playing at home and will be going into this game not only to win but to dominate major aspects of the game. According to the odds, they are expected to get the job done at home, and for them, 3 points will do them a whole lot good going forward.

Bournemouth are going through a tough patch at the moment this season and for them, every valuable point means a lot. They are sitting on 16th position on the table, however, they are not safe as they are just 2 points above the relegation zone which means that a lot could be very dangerous for them. The good news for them is that they have gained a bit of form after going 3 consecutive losses and have managed to gain back-to-back wins. This is good news for them as they will be going into this game with the much-needed confidence to fight for the crucial 3 points.

Bournemouth are expected to utilize a 4-4-2 formation. They are the underdogs in this game on paper, however, they have all it takes to carry their newly found form to get the job done at the Bramall Lane today. As usual, we are expected to see a tough and tight game between two teams who love it physical and like to utilize their strength in counter-attack and set-pieces.
