Manchester United vs Leicester City

The international break has taken over these past days with lots of great international fixtures. While the international break could be great for some, there are some, especially club football fans who find it boring and can’t wait for club football actions to resume. The premier league returns this weekend with lots of exciting fixtures still to come.

Coming up this Saturday is the much-anticipated premier league matchday 5 actions. Man United will face yet another tricky test as they battle it out against Leicester at Old Trafford.

Man United who are coming from a disappointing result against Southampton in their last fixture will be looking to get things right this time and return back to winning ways. They haven’t won a single game since their opening day emphatic victory against Chelsea at home, and have since gone on the decline. Their new signings have been performing really well so far, most especially Daniel James and Wan Bissaka who have all been part of the top performers for Man United this season.

Lots of attention will be on the young Daniel James who is currently flying high at the moment, to see how he carries on his top-level performance in this fixture against Leicester, a very difficult team to play against at this time. They will be going up against a team who are performing really well at the moment. So for them, it will be another stern test that they hope to overcome in front of their fans.

In terms of expected formation and tactics, Man United will most likely setup in a 4-2-3-1 formation like they have done is most of their games so far. Even though they are not in their best form at the moment, they will be going into this game to win it. They are the superior side on paper, and will most likely keep possession of the ball. They have really quality individuals in the side and for them, it will be all about using their individual qualities to try to get the job done at home.

Leicester are currently having a very good season so far, and are currently occupying the 3rd position on the table. Last season was a good one for them, finishing in the top half of the table. They will be looking to do better than what they did last season and are already going to the right path with their performances and results so far. They will be heading to Old Trafford to face a Man United side who are not in their best form at the moment, however, it will be a very difficult game for them as Man United will be playing for pride and also Old Trafford always remains a difficult ground for any team regardless of form.

In terms of expected formation and tactics, Leicester will most likely setup in a 4-3-3 or a 4-1-4-1 formation. They are a very dangerous team when it comes to counter attacks. However, under Rodgers, they can also play football if they want to. Against Man United at Old Trafford will be a difficult ground for them, so any result will be considered a good result. For them, they will want to play football but will be happy to sit back and wait for counter-attacking opportunities to hurt Man United.

An exciting fixture this is as we look forward to the matchday 5 actions. A difficult game for both teams as they both are capable of getting the desired result in this fixture.

What do you think will be the outcome of this fixture?
