Norwich vs Liverpool

The main premier league actions kicks off today and as usual, it promises to be an exciting Saturday premier league matchday. Liverpool will be locking horns against Norwich City later today away at the Carrow Road as they look to add yet another 3 points to their name.

Norwich City are probably the worst team in the premier league currently and their current position on the table tells a lot on how poor they’ve been in most of their games this season. They are newly promoted and so far, it hasn’t been an easy journey for them in the premier league. They are sitting rock bottom on the table right now and are already looking like a sure relegation candidate come the end of the season. However, nothing is certain yet as a lot can happen before the end of the season, which means that Norwich can still cement their place in the premier league for next season if they are able to get positive results and string a couple of crucial wins from now till the final matchday of the season.

Norwich will most likely set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and are expected to put up a good fight at home in their quest to move out of the relegation zone. We expect to see Liverpool have more of the ball, which means that Norwich could be forced to counter-attack and try to utilize other tactics to find ways to hurt the Reds at home.

Liverpool are in the form of their lives this season and have always improved each season. Last season was a fantastic season for them as they came very close to winning the premier league and they became the champions of Europe, however, this season has been superb and better as they are not only going to make history by winning the premier league title, they are one of the huge favourites to win the champions league as well. To show how great they’ve been so far this season, they are still the only team in Europe’s top 5 leagues to not suffer any defeat yet at this stage of the season, and have so far won 24 games out of the 25 premier league games played far, and are looking to make it 26 wins when they face Norwich City at the Carrow Road later today. As usual, the Reds are favourites to get a comfortable win at the Carrow Road, however, looking at Norwich’s Situation, this is a very tricky fixture for the Reds and will most likely be a difficult game against Norwich.

Liverpool are expected to go into this game lined up in their usual 4-3-3 formation and as always, there isn’t much to say when it comes to the way Liverpool plays as they pretty much have a certain way of playing football, with a little adjustments here and there, but overall, their gameplay doesn’t change.

What do you think will be the outcome of this fixture?

I would love to read your thoughts and opinions… Enjoy your day.
