It is yet another exciting new post of my ongoing what do you expect series and if you noticed, I have moved on from the clubs as a whole to individual players… yesterday I focused on Eden Hazard and what we should expect from him next season, I think it was pretty fun, so if you haven't seen it yet, you can do well to check my previous post. Today, we will be focusing on Christian Pulisic of Chelsea and what I’m expecting from him next season…
Christian Pulisic needs no introduction as we all know him especially from his days at Dortmund and what he can do on the pitch. Now a Chelsea player, since became part of the squad this season, he hasn’t really had the chance to fully showcase his abilities due to injury. We have seen glimpses of what he can do from the few games he has played this season. This season has seen him assists and score goals, including a perfect hattrick. A lot of the Chelsea fans are really frustrated that injury didn’t allow them see Pulisic in full gear. However, we know that next season will be a fresh new start for the player and every other new player in the premier league.
This season was more of a learning process for him and since it is his first season in the premier league, it was never gonna be easy to adapt very quickly as we all know how demanding the premier league is. This has led to a lot of talking points concerning the player and what we should expect from him next season… For me, I am expecting to see a much more improved Pulisic, this season wasn’t easy for him since he is still new to the league, so next season will be very different. His top-class abilities can not be questioned like we have seen so far from him… I expect him to be more of the x-factor that Chelsea have been missing since Hazard left, even though they have Ziyech who is also a player that can fill that Xfactor role.
Exciting times for the Chelsea fans as they next season could be theirs. With the quality players that will be coming in, there is no doubt that we will see the best of Pulisic next season… Goals, assists, and a lot more from him next season. if he is able to stay injury-free, there is no doubt we will be seeing a player that will be up there with the best next season.
