Liverpool, a club is known to have tremendous patience when it comes to believing in the process. They’ve truly endured hard and rough times in the past especially knowing that they used to be one of the best teams, if not the best team in the country back in the days, winning a bunch load of trophies, including 5 champions league trophies in the past. However, things began to slowly go downhill for them after the premier league was established and they began to also slowly lose the dominance they once had in their history. Yes, they were still challengers and up there in the premier league title race, but everything they did wasn’t enough to push them above the finish line when it comes to winning the premier league title. This endured for many years to the point that they needed to take the bull by the horn by hiring a new manager, however, those decisions didn’t prove to be the best decision in the world as things began to even get worse for them until the Klopp era was born…
Ever since Klopp took charge as the Liverpool manager, we saw a lot of changes in the clubs’ structure and the vibes that came along with the appointment of one of the top managers in world football. However, it wasn’t a quick fix situation for the Reds as they still had to go through a rebuilding process and the fans and the club hierarchy’s had to not only buy into the ideas of the manager but also believed in his methods and in the process… it didn’t take too long for the Klopp effect to begin to kick in as we saw a huge progress as each season passes by… Two seasons ago was a huge turning point for the Reds as we saw a team that just needed a few personnel here and there to complete the puzzle for them and take them back to the top where they once were… They reached the champions league and was right up there in the title race, However, last season was the one that got everyone thinking… “This Liverpool team is turning into something special under Klopp”, winning the champions league trophy and losing out in the title race narrowly.
This season, we are now seeing a Liverpool team that is almost at their full potential and so far, they are still the only unbeaten team in the premier league, winning everything and dropping only 2 points in 20 games. At the moment, there are not looking like a team that will lose anytime soon and so far also, no team is looking like they can stop Liverpool. And as things are at the moment, they look like they will run away with the title this season with the amount of points difference they have at the top. We have clearly seen the progress Liverpool have made every season under Klopp management and so far, they are looking like they are not done yet and still have a few seasons to completely reach their full maximum potential. Great time for Liverpool and their supporters as they are very close to making history again.
