More big news the last couple of days, as the start of the new season gets closer more teams are getting in action

BELGIAN LEAGUE OFF-SEASON NEWS UPDATE

Vanheusden To Standard

Standard pulled the biggest Transfer in Belgian history paying 12.6 Million for Vanheusden. They had 30% of the transfer rights which made the real price a whopping 18 Million. Vanheusden is a big talent and wanted to stay with Standard. The deal also included a buy-back option for Inter that can be taken up within 2 years. So a big deal for Standard who made may good transfers already.


Anton Tanghe To Oostende

So far Oostende got some experienced players with Vargas, Neto and Skulason and now signed a youngster from Club Brugge. Anton Tanghe is a 20-year-old defender who did not manage to get a spot in the A-Squad from Club Brugge past years.


Marko Bakic to Moeskroen

After striker Osabtey, Moeskroen now also signed 25-year-old midfielder Marko Bakic from Braga for 4 years.


Stephen Odey 3rd Offensive Enforcement Genk

Genk has been making work of replacing their offensive line and will most likely sign 21-year-old Nigerian Attacker Stephen Odey for 2 Million. Bongonda (7.5M) and Nygren (3.5M) also came to the team.


Daniël Schmidt to Stvv

This is the 3rd incoming transfer for Stvv after Troonbeeckx and Baltic with goalkeeper Daniël Schmidt who now plays for Japanese Vegalta Sendai until somewhere in June. He will likely replace Lucas Pirard.


Striker Sami Allagui to Moeskroen

The 33-year-old striker who used to play for Anderlecht in the past signed with Moeskroen for 2 years. He played also for Carl Zeiss Jena, Greuther Fürth, FSV Mainz, and Hertha Berlijn.
