These posts contain previews from the Belgian Cup with some of my personal bets, Live-betting angles, team form, injuries along with general team news...

There was no real coverage yesterday on the 3 matches so it was quite impossible to get any bets in. Racing Genk ended up winning 0-3 while the 2 other 1st Division teams both lost their match against lower-level teams. Cercle was a real surprise playing against a 2nd amateur team while Waasland not so much as they rotated many players playing against an ok team from 2nd Division. There are a lot more matches today and Beerschot vs Anderlecht will be broadcast live. I do believe there will be extended radio coverage on all the other matches so it can potentially get quite busy betting wise. I made brief previews of all matches and teams with potential rotations.

Boom vs Charleroi

Rupel Boom plays in 1st Amateur League while every year, Charleroi make a top priority out of the cup rarely getting anywhere. Charleroi so far have always played close to with the same 11 this season and will have some modest rotation for this Cup match. Part because not everyone is 100% and because some players were not all that good against Stvv last weekend. They are still able to field a good team. If live signs show that they are the dominant team I will likely end up taking a bit on them.

Cappellen vs Eupen

Cappellen plays in 2nd Amateur Liga. It was seen yesterday that this doesn't mean it will be a sure win for the 1st division team. Amat will be suspended for Eupen while the 4 defenders that were in the team against Standard are not in the team and not even on the bench.

Mandel United vs Oostende

Mandel is a team from 2nd Amateur who did surprisingly well last season reaching the 1/8 final last season against Stvv losing 3-2 after winning away against Waasland with 1-2. Oostende coach plans to rotate heavily giving players who haven't played a lot this season their chance. Usually, teams that did good in the cup tend to continue this trend the year after. I would be rather surprised it Oostende had a really easy evening on the pitch of Mandel Tonight.

Seraing vs Kortrijk

Seraing is a team from the 1st Amateur League while Kortrijk will rotate as most of the 1st Division teams giving players that haven't gotten much play time a chance. Defender Kagelmacher is injured.

St Gilloise vs Verlaine

Union was one of the better teams in the 2nd division last season and are made clear favorite at home against 1st Amateur league team Verlaine. Very little info on this match and I honestly also have no clue about these teams at the moment.

Zulte-Waregem vs Duffel

Zulte-Waregem coach Dury seems to take the cup serious as it looks like he will field close to his A-Squad players. FC Duffel is a team from 2nd Amateur so on paper is should be a clear win.

Aalst vs AA Gent

AA Gent is a real Cup team and always perform excellently in this competition. They are in a great streak with their A-Squad who played 7 matches in 21 days and also have one of the strongest benches in the league. This match will be used by the coach to basically fully field a B-Squad. While individually all these players have enough talent to play along in the A-Squad team. The lack of Automatisms should be an issue. The good thing is that they play against 2nd Amateur League team Aalst so the gap should be quite big.

Dessel vs Moeskroen

Dessel Sport is a team from First Amateur League while Moeskroen is clearly ranked above their true level in the first league after a hot streak. Moeskroen coach will likely rotate heavily but it hasn't been confirmed yet so last minute line-ups will make things more clear.

Francs Borains vs Club Brugge

Club Brugge coach Clement is known to rotate heavily in this kind of matches and that's what he's planning to do Tonight. Players as Deli, Mitrovic & Diatta aren't in the squad while Vormer, Vanaken and Mata will start on the bench. Last year it was a similar situation where the Club Brugge B-Squad lost against Deinze.Francs Borains is a 2nd Amateur team so even a Club Brugge B-Squad should not have that much problems with them. Worst case scenario, they still have key players that can come in late in the match.

Sint-truiden vs Leuven

Stvv will have to field a lot of A-Squad players in their matchup against the current leader of the 2nd division OH Leuven. They do have the advantage of their home artificial pitch though and having them as a slight -0.25 favorite seems to be correct.

Beerschot vs Anderlecht

This is the most interesting matchup of the day. Anderlecht started the league with a new play style at time playing good mostly in the first half but failing to take points early on to face a lot of good opponents afterward. In their situation they have to take the cup serious and from what It looks like, Kompany will make his comeback. Beerschot in a 2nd division team who are currently in 5th place. A remarkable fact is that in none of their last 5 matches both teams scored. The main question for me is of Anderlecht will be ready mentally. Their losing streak has been quite brutal. With Kompany back in the team, an opponent who is less compared to what they have faced last month and a need to win playing with their best 11 it certainly will be interesting. My lean is toward taking a small gamble on them at current -0.25 line, but It's hard to trust this team (especially in 2nd half) so I'm waiting it out. This one will be broadcast live and I'm looking forward to it.
