Small profit yesterday in the Europa League matches. Lots of interesting games this week and I already have one early bet on the Moeskroen Team Total Over 1.5 @ 1.892 which was posted early this week.

Standard vs Lokeren

Lokeren who are Hopelessly in the last place took a surprise win last week at home against Antwerp and are now all of a sudden only 5 points behind on Waasland-Beveren with 5 more matches to go starting today away against Standard. Bottom teams who all of a sudden start winning near the end of the season is something very common and it is a factor that has to be taken into account when betting for sure. I do like Standard as a team to back when they play at home in general. Backing Lokeren as a surprise in this match is simply not worth the risk for me. I rather wait for signs of a collapse. Standard -1.5 @ 2.0+ does really tempt me and I had them marked in case Lokeren failed to win against Antwerp last weekend. I will wait this one out live and see how it plays out early on. The main issue for Standard lately has been actual scoring power even though Carcela has reached a good form. There are 2 main things I will look out for in-game and those are signs of real domination from the home team and a sign of a collapse from Lokeren both when taking the lead or getting behind. I'm not sure that I'm willing to take any risk on bets if Lokeren plays a decent match. Most likely I will be taking a lose a little win a lot approach going for higher odds because they tend to be less unlikely in matches like this one. No Pre-Game Bets
