There are 3 more weeks in the playoffs and I will be going a bit in lockdown mode betting wise which means I will be (or try to be) much more selective in the bets I will be taking and likely stick mostly to live positions who will be shared on the SBC Discord the moment I take them. One match as usual on Friday between Standard and AA Gent.
Standard vs AA Gent
Standard played a really bad match away against Anderlecht who played with 10 most of the match and aren't exactly a top team this season. They do tend to show different forms in home and away matches so the bad match last week is not automatically a reference. They do however suffer a lot of missing players which is likely the reason for the quarter ball line movement. Vanheusden and Sa are out until the end of the season, Cavanda is suspended, Carcella is injured and Lestienne, Mpoku, Fai and Djenepo are questionable. Coach Preud'homme stated early on in the playoffs that they were going to play more realistic and give fewer goals away but they yet have to keep a clean sheet. Standard is in the hunt for the 3dr place being 2 points behind on Antwerp which will give them extra weeks vacation while AA Gent is still aiming to get the 5th spot now being 4 points behind on Anderlecht as it gives a potential chance to save their season in case Mechelen / Waasland still relegate due to match-fixing. AA Gent played a decent match against Club Brugge but simply fell short making defensive mistakes on the important moments. I get why the lines are set the way they are, both teams need the 3 points and have a difficult time to keep a clean sheet. I don't trust both attacking lines who had difficulties to score many goals though. Right now it's a No Bet and I also don't really have a lean. The in-game match picture will hopefully make a lot clear. No Pre-Game Bets
