The 5th round of the group stage in the European Leagues will be played this week. 4 matches on the program starting with an early kick-off today between Galatasaray and Club Brugge.
Galatasaray vs Club Brugge
Club Brugge this season has been solid especially on the road against the Asian handicap where they often fail to cover a big line at home. The trend pretty much is that you want to get on them early when the odds are released as the opening lines so far were not adjusted to their strenght with the money that comes it putting it right. This again seems to be the case for this match with the opening +0.25 @ 2.11 line that was pounded down to -0.25 @ 1.97. These 2 teams basically fight for the 3rd spot in the group standings with Club Brugge currently sitting there with 2 points having 1 point more than Galatasaray. In their home match along with most ofter matches so far in their group, it showed that Club Brugge is, in fact, the better team of the two. Galatasaray is in bad shape right now and suffers from a lot of injuries/suspensions. (Radamel Falcao, Florin Andone, Ryan Babel, Luyindama,...) They lost last weekend 1-0 to Basaksehir where they had more options and are now 8th in the Turkish League. Club Brugge is still without important player Vormer. The home side is the only team that hasn't scored yet in the CL this season while Club Brugge only scored in 1 of their CL matches and only got 6 goals against in 15 league matches.
I managed to get in a little beer money early on Club Brugge -0.5 @ 2.80 on a Belgian 1x2 bookie and a little @ 2.94 with EOS on Betr.bet and I'm regretting not having taken more when the line was at +0 @ 2.10 on the Asian market. It's hard to bet the current odds given the fact that the line moved so much and it remains a European away match where the draw is enough for Club Brugge. I did take some now on Galatasaray Team Total Under 1 @ 2.00 given the fact that they have a really hard time to score while Club Brugge has a solid defense. Galatasaray did create 23 corners in their last 3 home games which made me take some on Galatasaray -0.5 Corners @ 1.781. I'm highly looking forward to how it will evolve and will keep an eye out to possibly still take a bet on Club Brugge.
