Lots of transfers from Belgian Teams the last couple of days and I haven't been able to catch up with everything yet. Here is what has happened up to a couple of days back...

BELGIAN LEAGUE OFF-SEASON NEWS UPDATE

Beñat San José New Eupen Coach

Benat San José who is a 39-year-old Spanish coach will be the new head coach of Eupen next season. He does not know the Belgian League and worked in the middle east and South America in the past (Bolivia & Chile). He should be a more offensive minded coach compared to Makalele who was let down because of his defensive style.


More Transfers for Standard

Standard has been the king of the incoming transfers so far this season and added goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to the list along with Defender Gavory and Anthony Limbombe who worked with Coach Preud'homme before ad disappointed in Nantes.


Moeskroen Goalie Butez likely to Club Brugge

Club Brugge and Butez seem to have an agreement and physical tests have already been done so it looks like a matter of time before he will officially be announced. Club Brugge had a real goalkeeper issue for a while now, Butez at times impressed in Moeskroen.


Goalie Hubert To Cercle Brugge

Goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert will be loaned for a year by Cercle Brugge from Rivals Club Brugge. There is also an option to buy him in the deal. Hubert who came from Standard was one of the many goalkeepers that was not good enough for Club Brugge.


Opare Log Term Injury

Opare got injured during a friendly match and is said to be out for half a season. He was one of the A-Squad players in the strong Antwerp team last season. There is no replacement for him just yet for the wing defender.


Striker Osabutey to Moeskroen

20-year-old Ghanese striker Jonah Osabutey will come over from Werder Bremen and take his place in the Front Line of Moeskroen to fill up the gap of Taiwo Awoniyi who left back to Liverpool. He played in the 2nd team of Werder and managed to score 12 goals last season.
