Sean Dyche men who started the season on the back foot have finally found their form which they are known for since their return to the Premier League. They were tipped for relegation after losing the first 3 matches of the 20/21 campaign, they did not get their first Premier League victory until their narrow 1-0 week 8 home win against Crystal Palace which wasn't convincing thanks to the low morale of the squad.

Their win away win against Arsenal 0-1 was have given them the needed confidence which they retained against Aston Villa and again today against Wolves, what is expected to be a formidable opponent ended up been blown away. In the 35th minute, Ashley Barnes found the back of the net with a header after an assist by Charlie Taylor which they hold on to until halftime they were however two cautions, 6 minutes into the second half Chris Wood scored from close range bringing the tally to two making it a daunting task for Wolves to come back from the deficit.

Wolves kept on pressing but were met by a formidable Burnley defense, with persistent pressure from the attack of Wolves, Burnley caved in as substitute Josh Benson committed a foul which led to a penalty, Youngster Fabio Silva stepped up to take the spot-kick which he converted making it his first Premier League goal.

Today's win took Burnley out of the relegation into the 17th position (a point behind Arsenal)
