International footballer Antonio Rüdiger sees the reasons for his current strong form at his club, Chelsea, above all in the confidence shown to him.

"I feel extremely comfortable with Chelsea, and I feel every day the confidence of the coaching staff, the fans, the entire club, and that shows on the pitch as well," said Rüdiger to the "SID".

The 25-year-old has been in the starting lineup of the blues in all nine games in the Premier League this season. Last Saturday Rüdiger met in the top match against Manchester United (2: 2) for the interim lead. "I've had some good chances to meet myself this season and this time he finally went in," said the center-back. Chelsea is next to Manchester City and Liverpool FC the only unbeaten team in England's top division.

Rüdiger only has praise for the new coach Maurizio Sarri, who inherited the fired Antonio Conte. Rüdiger himself benefits enormously from Sarris game idea. "We play a ball possession football under Sarri, which is very important to me, so we are always relatively high as a defense, but once we are dubbed, I still have my speed in many cases still the opportunity to intervene," said the former Stuttgart.
