I want to share with all of you this funny but dramatic story as an entry to the great Happy Moan-day contest organized by our friend @pete.
A few days ago, Real Madrid changed the coach due to poor results, the defeat against Barcelona. Lopetegui packed his bags excusing himself in bad luck at specific moments. Well, that bad luck the new coach has turned into good fortune. Solari, the new white coach, managed to take the victory without making a great game.
Real Valladolid arrived at the Bernabéu with great enthusiasm to face Real Madrid. The team has returned this year to the top division of La Liga and is having an optimal performance, is located in the middle of the leaderboard when its goal is to maintain the category.
With these premises we expect a really complicated game for Real Madrid, the fans wanted to celebrate a comfortable victory that made forget the bad results of the last dates. The match started with the local dominance and good chances from Bale and Sergio Ramos, but the result was still 0-0 and the game was quite soporific. The audience began to get impatient whistling to their players. For its part, Valladolid was playing a perfect game, they were placed very well in defense and going to the counterattack with much danger increasing the nerves in the distrustful defense "merengue".
The second part began with the same pattern of play, the slowness of Real Madrid and the mistake in the last few meters increased the nerves in the stands. The game of Valladolid was growing, they saw the historic opportunity to win in the Madrid temple, at this time began the odyssey of the team.
