Usain Bolt has a huge learning curve in front of him as he has joined a professional A League soccer team in Australia. The Central Coast Mariners have given Bolt the opportunity to play A League soccer and he had his first game last weekend. I can't get a free use photo to add to this article as they are all too precious and protected at this time.
Usain has high hopes and believes in time he can play in the English Premier League. For now he is finding out that speed alone don't make him a viable standard player even in Australia.
The Central Coast Mariners are enjoying world wide publicity and are very happy to lose a few games for the sake of increasing the brand viability of the club. Usain played for around 20 minutes on the 30th of August for the club. His trial match was against Central Coast Select which is not even an A League club.
