The search for a new midfielder is a priority for AC Milan. Leonardo and the newly-arrived Paolo Maldini, are looking for every possible candidate always respectful to the Financial Fair Play from UEFA. After understanding that Rabiot of PSG or Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio were very complicated negotiations, today came out that Milan is after Tiemoue Bakayoko of Chelsea and apparently the negotiations have already began.
After playing very good with Monaco, Bakayoko was transferred last year to Chelsea for 56 million €. Wanted by Conte at Chelsea, he played 29 matches and scored 2 goals last season. Playing in England for was not so easy and the result was some meager performances and over-shadowed by his midfield partner N’golo Kante.
The question is: Is her the right player for AC Milan midfield?
In my opinion no. What Milan needs is a player in the middle that can bring geometry to the game and not be dependant to Suso, Calhanoglu or Bonaventura. But considering the financial situation of AC Milan and the pact with UEFA, Bakayoko is more than welcomed.
A 24 years old player that if he can get to play as he did with Monaco, he can become such a valuable player for a team like Milan in search of quality.
What is your opinion? Good or bad deal for Milan ?
