Called "the master", nickname that suits him more than in a great way, directors of the game like him have existed few in the last hundred years of football history. Andrea was born in Flero, in Brescia suburbs, in 1979. The youths have spent at home, between Flero, Voluntas Brescia and Brescia calcio, and then go to F.C. The following season passes definitively to the A.C. Milan, where it will consecrate itself as the genius we know today. Carlo Ancellotti ripped him from the opponent teams and strongly wanted him, but he had to make him live in the same formation with phenomena such as Rui Costa, Seedorf and Rivaldo. Ancellotti therefore adopts the tactics already used in the past by another Carlo, Mazzone, giving him the direction keys of his team. In red & black he manages to win almost everything that is possible in Italy, in Europe and in the World: 2 Scudetti, 2 Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup in their own home, 2 Champions League, 2 Uefa Supercups and a World Club Championship. His years with Milan jersey will also win the World Cup in Germany with the Italian national team in 2006, pulling one of the decisive penalty kicks in the final against France.
However, the red & black devils tale breaks off in 2011, when Milan decides not to believe in him anymore and lets him escape for free at the expense of Juventus. It is considered by a part of the critics a finished player who now has nothing more to say and no longer runs. Andrea accepts the challenge in Juventus and manages to silence everyone. He brings his new teammates to unexpected victories, as Juventus had recently returned to Serie A after the Calciopoli scandal, but also thanks to him he returned to dominate the national territory managing to win 4 Scudetti, an Italian Cup and two Italian Supercups. Will manage to reach a Champions League final against Barcelona in 2015 in Berlin, fate brings him back to the same field where he had been World Champion, but that time he was defeated to Messi & c. with a final result of 3-1 in favor of the blaugrana.
Andrea is a man who likes challenges, after the really nice adventure in Turin he decided to go to close his career in New York City. Career to which he had already thought to end to the times of defeat against Liverpool in a daring final Champions League ended 3-3 in 2005, when Milan had dominated and recovered in a few minutes all the goals that advantage he had from the Reds, lost on penalties and missing one himself. The experience in the Big Apple is not really positive that leads him to score only one goal in 60 games played. Not too much for someone like him who was a sniper of free kicks and who in Italy had managed to score fifty goals, especially from free kicks and penalties, considering all the different seasons but with an average of at least 3 scores per season.
Considered a true football genius all over the world, appreciated a lot even in South America where the idea of football is completely different from its way of being, just for this reason the South American fans have been fascinated by his skills, it is rare to see a player that, especially at the end of his career, just walks through the field and then in a second he makes real miracles with delicate touches to the ball and transform everything he could build in pure gold.
