Leonardo Jardim 'pays' for the dramatic start of the season of AS Monaco. The Portuguese coach is kicked out after four seasons. In the corridors Thierry Henry, T2 of the Red Devils, is mentioned as a possible successor.

Jardim achieved a lot of great successes with Monaco, since he came to the helm in 2014. In 2017 they won the title in France and managed to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

But the secret recipe of the Portuguese no longer works. Monaco gathered barely 6 points in his first nine games of the season and is in a desolate 18th place, 21 points from leader PSG.

"I am very proud to have been a coach of AS Monaco for four years", it sounds in the goodbye speech of Jardim. "I have always given everything for the club and worked with a lot of passion and our beautiful victories will always stay with me."

AS Monaco is already eagerly looking for a successor. Thierry Henry, the T2 of the Red Devils, would be at the top of the wish list.
