Hugo Lloris had a great night yesterday, if we believe the level of alcohol in his blood. The French goalkeeper of Tottenham made a positive alcohol test. Policeman took the test during a routine control, Lloris was driving the car.

Lloris, who won the World Cup with France at the World Cup in Russia, was picked up by the London police near Baker Street in the middle of the night and taken in to interrogation. According to English media, the goalkeeper was stuck for seven hours in a police station. According to the Mirror, he was in jail. Finally he got released on bail.

The Frenchman is expected to stand before the court on 11 September. Whether is has sanctions from his team is unknown at my time of writing.
