Dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong, 21, already has his fate almost right, according to the Spanish newspaper Marca.

According to the publication, the Ajax player may be doing his last season for the club where he was revealed and has a preference for playing in Barcelona.

Director of Ajax and idol of the two clubs, Marc Overmars got to talk to the board of Barça about the 21-year-old boy, but did not make a deal. The Dutch team would be asking for about 50 million euros for the half.

De Jong played for the Dutch team on the last date Fifa against Peru and received praise.
