The Westgate betting market of Las Vegas Superbook has issued predictions of several countries' chances to be champions in the next four years.
France remains a favorite to be champions again in Qatar with a 13-2 chance, following in the footsteps of Brazil (1958.1962), and Italy (1934,1938). But Brazil is more favored with a 6-1 chance. Followed by Germany and France (7-1), Spain (8-1) Argentina (10-1).
The United States, who missed this year at the 2018 World Cup, were seeded with a 60-1 chance, while runners-up 2018 Croatia 30-1.
At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, FIFA has plans to add participants to 48 countries. While in Russia this year the number of participants is still the same as previous world cup 32 countries including the host.
