Manchester United used to be a competitive team. Even through the team won many titles years ago, they showed courage, always trying to display a good spectacle to the fans. Currently, I hate to say it, but the team is a parody. And not because they don't have good players, rather because their attitude is so disappointing.

Evidently, all this comes to down to the coach, Jose Mourinho. Today's defeat against the modest Derby County team was a deathblow. And it wasn't about winning, as I've said, it was about attitude. Manchester United was ahead 1-0. And as usual, the team retreated their position, and chose to play defensively at their own stadium in front of their own people.

Such attitude has been imposed since Mourinho's arrival. I don't know if the general manager knows about the history of the team, but it was clear that Mourinho wasn't the best option. Truly, they wanted Guardiola, but the Catalan coach signed for the rival city instead.

Now, as for Mourinho, it is known how arrogant he is, because it never admits his own mistakes, which are many. And it is also known that the self-proclaimed "special one," has been down the hill since the last years.

Checking his recent history, he was sacked from Real Madrid and Chelsea. With the latter, he was sacked before the season ended because they were afraid the team was going to lose the category.

It is clear what the problem is here. Manchester United needs a new coach whom the players can believe to. Speaking of which, players like Paul Pogba has publicly showed his discomfort about how team plays.

In today's game, the unbearable was the reluctance to attack. Because when they did it, they created good goal occasions. However, as it always happens, the team retracted toward its own pitch. And that naturally was an invitation to the Derby County. which really honored the sport, and played to win.

I don't know how long Mourinho will retain his chair. But I think that the more time passes, the greater the prestige Manchester United will be throwing overboard.
