Vincenzo Cesaro, a member of the first section of the Collegiate Board of Guarantee of the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), has come under fire on social media for his criticism of the Agnelli family and Juventus club. In a Facebook post dated April 20, 2021, Cesaro described the Super League episode as another "disgusting page in the history of the Agnellis in our country." He claimed that for decades the State assisted the Agnellis due to their inability to run their business and that these debts are still being paid by all citizens today. Cesaro also declared himself a fan of the Napoli soccer team.
