Tonight's match between Olimpija Ljubljana and Spartak Trnava ended with a 2 to 0 victory for guests from Slovakia.

Please read my announcement for this match to see my prediction and the reasoning behind it.

In short, I predicted a draw and an under.

The final result proved me wrong, yet according to the match development itself, I was practically right.

Two Slovak goals were non-goals really.

The first one was a result of a penalty kick after a foul that only the referee saw.

The second goal was even more bizarre. A misfortuned clearance header from Olimpija's captain Branko Ilić found it's way into the net. More or less by an accident.

See for yourself. Ilić unfortunatelly falls on the ball while trying to put it away.

The ball tumbles into the far right corner while the keeper Ivačič stands there in disbelief.

And that was it when it comes to scoring.

I told you, two non-goals.

My wagger at Nitrogen Sports was a push. This was the only fortunate event of a sorry football evening in Ljubljana.

Spartak has a huge advantage now. I don't believe that Olimpija will manage the heart, nevertheless the skill to catch and surpass Slovaks at their home
