The London side are the most active in the summer transfer window of the coming Premier League season. They brought in seven quality players to back their options with Reece Burke leaving to Hull City, James Collins and Patrice Evra being released from their stay with the Hammers.

So we have seen what happens to teams that get in alot of players in their drive to success but then fail to meet the expectation either due to players not adapting to the managerial tactics of the team or the new players not having the same rhythm with their new colleagues. For the likes of Ac Milan and Everton in recent seasons who managed to boost their teams with a large number of signings both failing to meet their expectations in the previous seasons. On the bright side, if the team fails to meet their expectations on their first go, the next season can surely get better because of their adjustment to the Premier league. They expected so much after Slaven Bilic brought the team to their highest league position in decades including beating Premier League heavyweights Manchester United in their last home match of the 2015/2016 at Upton Park. So now introducing the players that have a chance to take West Ham United to the European stage what must sure be the demand of the board after the move from Upton Park to the London Stadium.

West Ham United signed Felipe Anderson from Lazio on a club record deal of £35 million, the spirited winger has been waiting for a move to the Premier League with recent rumours of his services needed by Tottenham and Manchester United. But now he has gotten the platform to display his skill in the West Ham shirt.

Next up is the former Corinthians Defender Fabian Balbuena to strength Manuel Pellegrini’s options in defense after the release of James Collins. They captured their man on a 3 year deal. Also making a move to The Hammers is France U21 centre back Issa Diop from Toulouse on a five year deal brought to London for a fee of £22 million. They then went on to strengthen their goalkeeper position with Polish Keeper Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea for £7 million on a 3 year deal to the hammers. Lukasz is no new face to the league playing with Arsenal and Swansea for 11 years. Another signing who has played with Fabianski in the EPL at Arsenal is English commanding midifield Jack Wilshere. The 26 year old has had a tough stage in his career in arsenal which saw him been loaned to Bolton and recently Bourmouth to give him more game time to kick start his form. He had a lot of injuries in his stay with Arsenal and his time with the Gunners ran out. So now it’s a new team and a new start for Jack as he goes on to recreate all the glimpses of world class performance he had at Arsenal.

They captured the signing of Ryan Fredricks from Fulham after his contract ended the full back has been exiciting to watch in the Championship last season. West Ham and Manuel Pellegrini used all their influence to bring Ukraine International Andriy Yarmolenko to meet up with the team in their training camp in Switzerland. The signed Yarmolenko for £17.5 million, which saw the Borussia Dortmund man make a move to England.

So we don’t know what the future may hold but with these impressive transfers we can both say West Ham are on the right track to reach the next level of their clubs history with new title winning boss Manuel Pellegrini.
