Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic praised the performance of goalkeeper Danijel Subasic when he met Denmark in the last 16 of the 2018 World Cup in the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium on Sunday (1/7/2018) or early Monday morning.

Subasic performed brilliantly when the 1-1 score lasted up to the penalty shootout. The Monaco goalkeeper stopped three Danish penalty executors, Christian Eriksen, Lasse Schoene and Nicolai Joergensen.

Subasic's sublime performance put Croatia in the last 16 with a 3-2 win over Denmark in the tos-tosan round. Therefore, the coach was without doubt flattering goalkeeper 33 years, compared to Ivan Rakitic or Luka Modric.

"Subasic is a hero tonight, he saved three penalties in that round, you do not see that every day," Dalic said.

"Tonight Subasic has been great for putting things out, he is doing well when Croatia needs me and I do not hesitate to congratulate Subasic," said Dali
