Newly-appointed Al-Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard is making an ambitious move to recruit Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, according to reports. Gerrard, who recently signed a two-year contract with the Saudi Pro League team, is targeting his former teammate. It remains to be seen if Henderson would be enticed by a switch to the Middle East, as he still has two years left on his current deal at Anfield. Henderson has been an integral part of Liverpool since joining in 2011, leading them to Premier League and Champions League successes. Additionally, Al-Ettifaq is reportedly interested in Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as they continue to make waves in the transfer market. However, it is unlikely that Bayern Munich's Sadio Mane and Aston Villa's Philippe Coutinho will join the Saudi side. In other news, Bayern Munich is preparing a second bid for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, and Chelsea is in talks to bring back academy graduate Tino Livramento from Southampton. Newcastle is also exploring a potential move for Sporting centre-back Goncalo Inacio.
