So the African Cup of Nations has started and so far, it's been good. I wasn't able to watch yesterday as there was no power. The lights came back late at into the night and I was asleep then. I was however we to watch today's matches and I can say, it isn't too bad.

I'm sure there will be reviews on each match, so I won't attempt to go there. Just want to talk about how the game has improved. The game is much faster this days as opposed to previous tournaments.

Until the Guinea vrs Madagascar match, all the games had been less than 4 goals. That's been disappointing to me. I thought Egypt would have won the first game by about 6 goals or something there about, but it wasn't easy for them. Also thought Nigeria will score at least 3 goals, and that also didn't happen. Guess there are no more underdogs.

In all, I will say the games have been good. African matches hard to be a bit more physical but I think exposure in the European leagues have changed our style of play. I can't wait for the Ghana Black Stars to play their first match and hopefully, Ghana so meet Nigeria along the line in the tournament. It's always fun when we best them.
