Hooraayy! Ghana finally wins a match in the ongoing African Cup Of Nations tournament being held in Egypt. It's been tough but we've made it through to the next round. At least, we have some good news.

Ghana faced Guinea-Bissau a few hours ago in their last group game match. This time round, we were able to beat Guinea-Bissau by two goals to nil. This means that Ghana topped the group and are now to face Tunisia in the round of 16 on 8th July.

Immediately after the match, messages circulated on social media in Ghana about the last time Ghana won the AFCON. According to the messages, the last time Ghana won the AFCON was in 1982. During the AFCON, Ghana played a goalless draw in their first match, a two-all drawn game in their second match and a two-nil won their third match. That is the same thing happening this year.

We are all waiting and hoping that history repeats itself but until then, we have a lot of work to do. We still have some challenges in the attack and defense and I hope we sort it out before we meet tougher opponents. So far so good and I will like to say congrats to all Ghanaians.
