Well round 20 is behind us and will all other European Football competition already did start with their winter break. England keeps on going! Lots of the teams already had their Christmas Party and New year's eve festivities in the beginning of December!
Statistics Round 20:
Maybe not a big surprise that Liverpool won against Arsenanl, but the 5-1 was a surprise! At least for me.
Also the defeat of Tottenham wasn't something which the Lars was capable of predicting!
Round 20 did bring us 5 home wins, 4 away wins and one draw!
Only 4 games had more than 2,5 goals!
And in 50% of the games both teams did found the net!
Rankings:
Both Tottenham and Arsenal did loose. Tottenham gave back the second place to Manchester City, who finally could win after back 2 back losses.
Manchester United won for the third time in a row and it closing the gap with the top 5 faster as snow melts for the sun. Arsenal may fear them and prepare themselves to protect their 5th place.
At the bottom not a lot of changes. Huddersfields is in danger! The gap with the safe 17th place is already 5 points. Still I consider that everything from Crystal Palace downwards can still relegate back to the Championship!
