Well each year I do ask myself the question: will I take a season ticket for KRC Genk? And each year I don't do it! The biggest reason behind it is that I do have enough things to do and when you do have a season ticket, it will become more or less an obligation to go!

This means that you will plan your life around the home games of the team. But with the sons growing up fast ( 7 and 10) and I didn't have a clue what to ask for my upcoming birthday there was an extra motivation to buy a season ticket.

Champions League

Because Genk took the title in Belgium, it is automatically qualified from the group phase of the Champions League. And the only way to get tickets for the home games of the Champions league will probably to be the owner of a season ticket!

With Genk in pot 4, some great teams could come over to Genk.
So again an extra incentive to bite the bullet!

Imaging home games against Juventus, Real Madrid or Napoli and Benfica! How great would that be for the kids!

The idea is to buy 2 seat in section L or LL. I do need to seats besides each other, which makes it a little bit harder. Also because it is almost sold out! Next year, Genk will not sell tickets for individual games! But they also offer a great thing. For each adult season ticket, you can get a kid season ticket for free, which does decrease the average price a lot.

They will play 20 home games, which will evenly divided by the 2 sons. I will go to the ticket shop this after noon and see what seats will still be available!

Cheers,
Peter
