Let's hope that the Lars will have a better week as round 8 was.

Statistics

Nothing much has changed compared to these statistics.

Still an enormous number of wins for the away teams and lot's more away goals than the average (past 4 seasons).

The number of scoreless draws has increased a little bit thanks to Liverpool and City.

While it may not have looked liked it in round 8, but the Premier League is still an excellent place for the over 2.5 goals betting market!

Standings

Three teams are sharing the lead at the moment. There were times that it was more boring than this. The complete top 5 is only separated by 2 points.

At the bottom Huddersfield and Cardiff did switch places.

Week 9 predictions!

Some interesting games in week 9.

At the top Chelsea has the always dangerous home game against Man United, a wounded animal.

Liverpool and City do have much easier opponents!

At the bottom, Cardiff has an excellent chance to win their first game of the season. Or will Fulham win their first away game?

Let's see what the Lars thinks about it!

The Lars doesn't think that United will have any chance against Chelsea. Also City and Liverpool are expected to win easily.

Newcastle has a good chance of winning their first game of the season, but the Lars doesn't see Cardiff keeping the 3 points at home. Most likely this will end in a draw!

We will know it on Tuesday, how well the Lars did perform!

Cheers,
Peter
