Only 8 countries left. Some expected but on the wrong side of the bracket, other rather unexpected! 2 countries from South America and 6 from Europe!

According to the bookies, Brazil vs England is the most likely final to happen! But it has been a world cup of upsets, some one or 2 more wouldn't surprise me!

I think that we all can agree that if your country is still in there, that you are hoping that it is on the right side, instead of the left! Well mine is still here and is on the left! Which also has some advantages. A quarter at the World Cup will add some pressure to the teams! And England suddenly became the favorite of the left side and is expected to play the final!

Belgium on the other hand is on the right side and has nothing to loose against Brazil or France! They aren't the favorites which will decrease the pressure! It all depends how you look at it But according to me, the games on the left could be semi-finals on it own, hell even finals. And this is not something we can say about the games on the left side, with all due respect!

France vs Uruguay

It will be a close game! It will be the third time that France will play against a country from South America. They did beat Peru with a dry 1 - 0 and eliminated Argentina with a juicy 4 - 3! But this time it will be different, Uruguay is much more disciplined that the other South American teams! Also Cavani will be at his best against France! He did score 3 goals in his last 2 games!

Both teams have so much attacking potential with Cavani and L Suarez on one side and Mbappe, Griezmann and Giroud on the other side backed by Pogba! The over 2.5 goals, with odds of 2.699 are to good to stay away from!

Brazil vs Belgium

This one will be though for me to predict because it will be hard to stay unbiased!

We can say that it is one of the best Defences of this World Cup (Brazil, only conceded 1) against the best attack of this World Cup (Belgium already scored 12!). The best part about these 12 goals from Belgium is that they have been scored by 8 different players!
Lukaku (3), E. Hazard (2), Batshuayi (1), Mertens (1), Vertonghen (1), Fellaini (1), Chadli (1) and Januzai (1). This proves the strenght of Attack of Belgium! But what they did offer at the front, they are maybe lacking at the back!

Brazil won their last 3 games with 2 - 0. So three clean sheets in a row! The only goals they conceded was a header! But their will be lots of opportunities come for Belgium with corner kicks and free kicks around the box, so this could be a threat for Brazil!

The bookies are clearly in favor of Brazil and I don't want to Jinx Belgium. Otherwise you just can't deny the great odds for a Belgium win with 3.619! But I will go for the over 3 goals, which should be possible with 2 great offenses and both willing to come a head! The odds for this are: 2.818
