As well as coach Niko Kovač moving to FC Bayern München, there has been plenty of movement in Frankfurt. Die Adler have brought in a number of cheaper buys to bolsters their squad, and here we take a took at our top three picks who will be working with new coach Adi Hütter.

Evan N'Dicka (AJ Auxerre, €5m)

Stumping up millions for young, raw and untested players is always seen as a gamble, but Eintracht Frankfurt have really rolled the dice with their most expensive signing of the summer.

Eighteen year old Frenchman Evan N'Dicka has played just sixteen matches in the second division for AJ Auxerre, and is barely out of the youth squad. But it appears that he has been on plenty of radars for quite a while.

The big central defender has been part of the French national setup since 2016, progressing smoothly up to the Under-20 side. A gamble it may well be for Adi Hütter's side, but it looks like a well-calculated one.

Frederik Rønnow (Brøndby IF, €2.8m)

With the departure of Lukáš Hrádecký to Bayer Leverkusen, the hunt was on for a new goalkeeper in Frankfurt. Problem? Not for the folks at Eintracht. If you have a formula that works, just do the same thing again.

In 2015, the team from Germany's financial capital picked up Hrádecký from Brøndby IF. So, what better than to snare the man who had followed the same path? In 2013, Hrádecký was signed by Brøndby from rivals Esbjerg fB. When the Finnish international left for Frankfurt two years later, Brøndby went back to Esbjerg to snare his successor Frederik Rønnow. One could say that Rønnow's move to Frankfurt makes perfect sense.

Rønnow has played 99 games for Brøndby since replacing Hrádecký. At 25, he has plenty of experience, and has also won six international caps for Denmark. At just 2.8 million Euro, he is an absolute bargain buy.

Nicolai Müller (Hamburger SV, free)

One of Eintracht's more tried and tested signings is two-time German international Nicolai Müller, arriving on a free transfer from relegated Hamburger SV.

In 2013 when he was at FSV Mainz 05, Müller was arguably at the top of his career. Mainz were flying high, and the player had been picked by Nationaltrainer Jogi Löw. By the following season however, he had been transformed into a journeyman.

With Die Rothosen constantly battling relegation, Müller had turned into a crisis manager. In 2015, he earned a place in every Hamburger's heart with his dramatic playoff winner against Karlsruher SC, saving the club from the drop.

At the start of the 2017/18 season, he made the headlines again after injuring himself when celebrating the opening goal of the season. It was all downhill from there. Müller played only one more match for HSV, a 3-0 defeat in the penultimate fixture... Against Eintracht Frankfurt.
