Juventus are the kings of Serie A. They won the league for the past 7 consecutive seasons. They've also put in good performances in the UEFA champions league which is evident by their 2015 and 2017 appearances in the UCL final. But they lost to Barcelona and Madrid respectively.

One thing is sure. Juventus want more. The fans want more. The scudetto is no longer enough. The Coppa Italia is no longer enough enough. They want the ultimate club trophy. They want the UCL!

Juventus won the league last season but it wasn't as easy as it used to be. Napoli gave them a run for the their money. The title race was tougher last season but Juve came out victorious having 4 more points than Napoli who finished second. Juve are used to having it easy.

But winning the league should be easier for them now that they signed Cristiano Ronaldo. The deal was referred to as the deal of the century. Antonio Cassano knew that Juve has sealed the league again. This year," the former Azzurri ace mused, "they may as well hand over the Scudetto trophy before the season even begins!"

But Juventus are planning to fry a bigger fish. They are planning to win the UCL. And who better to sign than CR7, a player who has been labelled "Mr Champions League!". The All time UCL highest goalscorer has scored more UCL goals than Atletico Madrid and a lot of other clubs.Add Ronaldo to a squad that boasts of the likes of Chiellini, Dybala, Pjanic, Matuidi, Marchisio and Cuadrado and you know you have a team capable of winning the UCL.

But Juve aren't done yet. They resigned Leonardo Bonucci from AC Milan after they let him leave last season. They also let Higuain and Caldara leave for AC Milan. Letting Higuain makes sense from a financial point of view but their fans won't be too excited by the exit of Caldara who is one of the top talents in Europe. Caldara was at Atalanta last season and he performed well, even better than Bonucci. But Bonucci is a veteran with a vast amount of experience which is something required to win the UCL.

Juventus are not planning for the future. They might as well change their motto to " The Time Is Now". It's all about the present. It's all about winning the UCL.

They made a bold statement when they signed Ronaldo, and resigning Bonucci is another bold statement.

The new season is about to start soon and all eyes will be on Juventus and Ronaldo.
